Rheumatology Research Foundation Announces Rachel Myslinski as New Executive Director

ATLANTA - The Rheumatology Research Foundation (Foundation) is pleased to announce Rachel Myslinski, MBA will be joining the organization as Executive Director beginning November 15, 2021. Myslinski currently serves as the American College of Rheumatology’s (ACR) Vice President for Practice, Advocacy and Quality.  

Myslinski comes to the Foundation with a great depth of knowledge of the ACR and brings significant business expertise from her former role as a Senior Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).  She has been in the healthcare industry for 16 years, primarily in the professional medical association, management consulting, and nonprofit research foundation settings. 

During her tenure at the ACR, Rachel oversaw the development of the Rheumatology Informatics System for Effectiveness (RISE) Registry, the first and largest electronic health record (EHR)-enabled rheumatology registry in the country. With more than 1,000 participating rheumatology clinicians and 2.4 million patients in the registry, RISE plays an instrumental role in advancing the specialty through improving care and expanding research.

Louis Bridges Jr., MD, PhD, Foundation President. "She has an impressive plan for how to bring new ideas and strategies to help the Foundation become even more impactful on rheumatology in the future.
